The "Eyes" Have It -- 18% Net Return In 2.1 Months for Hougaard Forex
Take one look at the steely eyes and you know you're dealing with a man who won't accept mediocrity.
Tom Hougaard, for years a familiar interview subject on financial media outlets like CNBC, Bloomberg, BBC and CNN, launched his WorldCupAdvisor.com program in late May. Early results were fair to middling, and Tom wasn't satisfied. Tweaks came quickly and performance improved.
Posting winners on each of his last seven trades, Tom has raised the net profit in the Hougaard-Paul account to $2,050 for an 18% return in just 2.1 months. AutoTrade subscribers can follow activity in this account automatically with a recommended account size of $11,500 and a monthly subscription fee of just $200.
Tom consults daily with South African David Paul, who specializes in market sentiment and the psychology of trading, to coordinate Hougaard-Paul Forex trading. Their underlying philosophy? "Simple," says Tom. "We fade the short-term in the direction of the long-term." For account specs and more information about the trading styles of Tom Hougaard and David Paul, click here.
This program marks the first time Hougaard has allowed subscribers to mirror his personal trading. Trading is limited to major forex pairs and trades are held an average of 1 to 2 hours.
Net Return of 96% for Long-Running Focus Futures
The recent spike in Michael Cook's Focus futures account -- a net gain of $7,908* during July -- has an eclectic feel to it.
Cook has done it with options, options spreads and outrights... trading gold, cotton, sugar, T-Bonds, E-mini S&Ps, natural gas and crude oil.
"When I see an opportunity that looks like a really favorable risk/reward situation, I will be doing more options and spread trades going forward," Michael says. "It seems that the current markets are favoring swing models of a few day's duration, exactly the type that make up a significant part of the Focus account."
Focus is one of our longest-running lead accounts, with a history stretching back 32 months. Over that period, it has amassed net profits of $19,255 for a 96.3% return.
Cook won the 2007 World Cup Championship of Futures Trading® with a 250% net return and placed second place in the 2008 competition. He worked as a senior trader and market-maker at various European banks and hedge funds for 10 years before retiring from institutional trading a few years ago. Subscribers can enter the Focus program with a standardized balance, because leverage does not increase when the account balance grows. Those who follow Focus trading with AutoTradeT service automatically make the same trades that Michael makes.
31.2% Net Return in 2.8 Months for Unger Cross-Current Forex!
To Andrea Unger, trends are good but "clean trends" are better.
That's how Unger characterizes foreign currency activity over the last few days, with the Euro and British Pound making a recovery from their prolonged slide against the dollar. Andrea scalped a $1,279 EUR/USD winner from the long side today in his Cross-Current forex account, and is holding a $2,089 open trade profit in the GBP/USD.
"The main currencies are recovering from recent drops and doing it with some clean trends," Andrea says. "This is a big edge for the Cross-Current strategies, which try to take advantage of trends lasting several days."
Cross-Current's net return stands at 31.2% on profits of $7,815 in 2.8 months. AutoTrade subscribers can automatically make the same trades that Andrea makes.
Andrea is the winner of the last two World Cup Championship of Futures Trading® titles with net returns of 672% in '08 and 115% in '09. Click here to learn more about his background and trading style.
GForce2 E-mini S&P Net Return Rises to 92.5%!
On May 28th, we sent out a message that Rob Mitchell's GForce2 futures account had posted net profits of $7,161 in 7.71 months for a 71.6% return.
Now we can report that GForce2 has posted net profits of $9,255* in 9.2 months for a 92.5% return.
Anyone notice a pattern here?
GForce2 has its hiccups like any program, but it's living up to its design as an E-mini S&P program that takes small profits on a high percentage of trades, contain losses to a reasonable level, and stays in position to ride a few winners along the way. On days trades have been closed out, Rob has taken profits 82 times and losses on only 35 occasions. Learn more now.
Subscribers can mirror Mitchell's activity with AutoTradeT service and can enter the program at any time with a fixed $10,000 opening balance, because leverage is not applied as the account balance grows. The program marks the first time Rob has allowed subscribers to follow the trading in his personal account. To learn more about Rob's trading style and to view specs on the Gforce2 program, visit his WCA Profile Page.
As seen on TV -- Hougaard AutoTrade Now Available
If you're wondering where you've seen this face before, it may have been on TV.
For years Tom Hougaard was a favorite interview subject on financial media outlets like CNBC, Bloomberg, BBC and CNN. They came to Tom for his insight, articulate presentation and brazenness.
Hougaard has curtailed his on-camera work to spend more time analyzing and trading the markets, and for the first time he is allowing subscribers to follow his trading automatically with World Cup AutoTradeT service. Tom consults daily with David Paul to present the Hougaard-Paul Forex account, which is off to a positive start with a net 3%* gain in its first 1.5 months of trading.
Learn more now.
This is an economical account to follow, with a recommended account size of $11,500 and a monthly subscription fee of just $200. Trading is limited to major forex pairs and trades are held an average of 1 to 2 hours. For account specs and more information about the trading styles of Tom Hougaard and David Paul, click here.
Hougaard and Paul communicate from their respective bases in England and South Africa to discuss trade set-ups. "By working together, we can cover more markets and time frames and ensure continual monitoring of market activity," says Hougaard.

1.695 Profit Factor Yields 94% Net Return for Erenler World Cup Program
1.695. To Earl Erenler, that's what it's all about.
That's the current "gross profit factor" of his 2010 World Cup Championship -- cumulative gross profits on all trades divided by gross losses. 1.2 was his goal; nearly 1.7 makes him deliriously happy.
That lopsided profit factor, along with lopsided trade accuracy of 66% (58 winners, 30 losers), has propelled this program to net profits of $18,827 for a 94% return in 5.2 months of trading. Learn how you can follow Earl's trades with AutoTrade service.
This is a broad-based program. Earl monitors approximately 30 futures contracts in 7 sectors (energies, currencies, grains, metals, financials, meats & softs ) for potential trades, with trading based exclusively on Wyckoff Volume Analysis.
"When applied correctly to liquid markets, the Wyckoff methodology works regardless of volatility," Erenler says. "Using it helps me identify trades before markets make big moves, and in volatile markets, the methodology also helps me identify trades that can sustain their moves."
To learn more about Earl and his trading style, click here to view his WCA profile page.
There are actually two ways to follow Erenler's trading. Subscribers can open with matching funds and make the same trades that Earl makes in the World Cup Championship of Futures & Forex Trading® account referenced above. Or they can start with a fixed $20,000 opening balance and follow his new Protean Edge program. Trades will be identical in both programs, but contract quantities will be leveraged in the World Cup Championship program.
• WorldCupAdvisors - Trade with the Pro's
The WorldCupAdvisor site is home to nationally recognized professional futures, forex and stock traders. Through our advanced technology, they are able to display their live trading accounts in real time and allow subscribers to attempt to replicate their activity. Many subscribers use World Cup AutoTradeT service to follow trade activity automatically.
Our basic WorldCupAdvisor membership, priced at just $20 per month, allows you to navigate throughout all sections of the site except the Live Update trading accounts. Subscriptions are sold separately for each Live Update account and are available only to basic WorldCupAdvisor members.
What are the Live Update accounts?
These are live futures, forex and stock-trading accounts whose activity is relayed to and displayed on the World Cup site. Many of our Live Update accounts are personal trading accounts funded and traded by the designated advisor or system developer, and some are entered in the World Cup Trading Championships®. Others are live model accounts traded on behalf of customers according to signals provided by the designated advisor. Every trade you see on the World Cup site is a live trade in a funded account.
What do I get for my subscription dollars?
We try to give you an edge in the markets -- Trader's Edge®. Subscribers get access to a real-time visual display of the Live Update account(s) to which you are subscribed. We've created separate screens for orders entered, open positions, closed positions , and advisor commentary.
How do I duplicate the trading in a Live Update account?
It's up to you. Some subscribers place the orders themselves in online accounts or call their broker with instructions. Many elect to sign a Letter of Direction with our authorized brokers, who follow the signals on their behalf with System Assist® World Cup AutoTrade service. Subscriptions to some accounts are available only to AutoTrade clients to ensure that a contract-size maximum is not exceeded.
How will I know when there is account activity?
When you're logged into a Live Update program, an Instant Message will appear on your screen any time there is new activity in the account. If you keep your computer speakers on, a bell will ring to accompany the incoming message. Just click "close" on the Instant Message to view the new activity. An email notification also accompanies each new activity, and subscribers with text messaging service can receive text message notifications at no additional charge. Advisors utilize their Live Update Commentary screens to clarify trade activity and provide instructions.
Is there a guarantee of account profitability?
Unfortunately, no. However, we go to great lengths to identify traders we believe are capable of sustaining profitable performance. Many of our advisors have posted top finishes during the 26-year history of the World Cup Trading Championships®. We also feature many accounts designed by noted system developers and respected educators.
Which account is best suited for my trading style?
You can view every round-turn trade made in every active account via the Trade History button on our home page. (Profit/loss is shown exclusive of commissions, fees, transaction and subscription costs.) Registration for this access is free.
